Job Description

Services is one of the 5 Big Bets for HP and it will really drive a transformation in our Sales and Category teams. We are looking to hire a Personal Systems (PS) Services Category Specialist, based in UAE or South Africa,to manage this business in close relationship with all stakeholders: Sales, Pursuit, Hardware Category, Marketing, Customer Support, Sales Ops, Finance.As we move on in this journey the Services ecosystem is getting more complex and we need to make sure we understand and manage our Core Services (carepacks, logistic Services, Configuration Services) as we move to an outcome based selling approach and our Managed and Digital Services become more significant. It will be essential how we integrate new roles in our extended team, like Security, MS CSP or Teradici Business Development Managers and how we transition from traditional IT to Modern cloud based services and solutions. This will also change our portfolio and capabilities and AI and Automation will be included in our main offers. Transformation at Customer as well as on Supplier side drives an increased importance of Services within HP: Shift towards cloud, Increased cost and complexity, Demand for aaS models, Security concerns, Desire for growth, predictable revenues and increased lifetime value of installed base and differentiationThe Key Role of Computing Services is:

  • 4P (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) Management
  • Business and P&L Management
  • Business planning and forecasting, working on yearly and quarterly plans to achieve our goals
  • Internal and external communication of our Services and Value Proposition
  • Keep close relationship all Services ecosystem: Sales, Pursuit, Marketing, Customer Support, Sales Ops, Finance
HP?s Services offering is structured around 3 key pillars:
  • Lifecycle Services: Setup, Fix, Renew
  • Digital Services: Device Management, Security, Teradici, Subscription Management
  • Managed Services
Responsibilities and Scope:
  • Manage PS Service business in Eastern Europe, Middle East, Turkey and Africa region and work actively on Business development
  • Services 4P: Service Offering, Pricing, Promotion and Place
  • Achieve key performance indicators like Orders, Revenue, GPM, Attach Rate, Penetration Rate, TCV and Funnel
  • Work closely aligned and integrated with local hardware Category team and EU and Channel teams
  • Evangelize, enable and support Service Sales Specialists, Sales Generalists with initiatives to maximize Service Sales.
  • Support Partner and customer events.
  • Communicate and agree on Sales goals, explain strategy to achieve them and follow up on execution
Experience and Education:
  • 5-7 years in Information Technology Services business and/or Product Category / Marketing role
  • Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience after degree
  • Degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, management information systems, Business Administration or equivalent experience
