Job Description

Job purpose:úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿTo complete estimation of projects with precise quantity take-offsúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿTo send inquiries and negotiate with suppliers/sub contractors, to get the best quality and the best rate possible for required material/service.

  • úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿPre and post tender responsibility for projectsÿ
Job Accountabilities:úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿUnderstand the project deliverables and requirements within pre-determined timeframesúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿGather first-hand information from the Client, Consultant/Designers, and Site Conditions. Digest any RFP and perform risk analysis.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿTo do quantity take-off from drawings either on AutoCAD or any estimator softwareúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿTo complete detailed Bill of Quantities and Pricing using BI standard format.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿTo send inquiries to suppliers/sub-contractors/sun consultants/specialists based on the materials and services required for the said project.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿTo ensure that correct details are sent in the inquiries and on receipt of the quotation, check the validity, payment terms, delivery program, and T&C/qualifications offered by the supplier/sub-contractor.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿTo conduct negotiations with the suppliers/sub-contractors to agree on more favorable terms for the company both pre and post-tender.
