Job Description

Ambitek are a supplier of temporary labour to a range of industries in the UAE.We are looking for a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to manage all aspects of cost estimation and financial management for construction projects.Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting cost estimates and preparing tender documents, bills of quantities, and cost reports.
  • Analyzing project specifications and drawings to determine material quantities, labor costs, and other project expenses.
  • Collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing information and quotes.
  • Evaluating and comparing subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure competitiveness and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitoring project costs and expenditures throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to budgets and timelines.
  • Identifying and mitigating potential cost risks and deviations from project plans.
  • Reviewing and negotiating change orders, variations, and claims with project stakeholders.
  • Providing regular updates and reports on project costs, budget variances, and financial forecasts.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices related to quantity surveying and cost management.
