Quantity SurveyorJob Location : UAEJob Details :?Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering.?+3 Years as QS in Estimation Dept. in the construction industry?Identify items of possible risks and foresee difficulties in execution of some trades?Critical thinking, AnalyticalResponsibilities :?Prepare cost analysis based on the architectural drawings, engineering estimates, materials required and labour involved?Prepare cost plans to enable design teams to produce practical designs for construction projects, which involves liaising with architects, engineers and subcontractors.?Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities?Evaluate tenders from contractors and subcontractors and, where appropriate, negotiate with the contractors.?Review scope of work to be included in a tender and arrange for the required information.?Coordinate with Consultant for any discrepancies and clarification for scope of works, specifications & drawings in tender documents for raising RFPs?Coordinating with Subcontractors and Suppliers for clarification of submitted specifications and drawings.?Floating, coordinating and overview of Subcontractors/Supplier enquiries and follow up.?Prepares Bill of Quantities (if not provided with Tender Documents).?Prepares value Engineering recommendations to meet Clients/Consultants requirements
