Quantity Surveyor - Pre & Post ContractJob purpose:úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿTo complete estimation of projects with precise quantity take-offsúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿTo send enquiries and negotiate with suppliers/sub-contractors to get the best quality and the best rate possible for required material/service.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿPre and post tender responsibility for projectsÿJob Accountabilities:úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿUnderstand the project deliverables and requirementsúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿGather first-hand information from Client, Consultant/Designers and Site Conditions. Digest any RFP and perform risk analysis.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿTo do quantity take-off from drawings either on AutoCAD or any estimator softwareúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿTo complete detailed Bill of Quantities and pricing using BI standard format.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿTo send enquiries to suppliers/sub-contractors/consultants/specialists based on the materials and services required for the said project.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿTo ensure that correct details are sent in the enquiries and on receipt of the quotation, check the validity, payment terms, delivery programme and T&C/qualifications offered by the supplier/sub-contractor.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿTo conduct negotiations with the suppliers/sub-contractors to agree more favourable terms for the company both pre and post tender.ÿ
