Job Description

Part-Time Quantity Surveyor

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects based on architectural and engineering drawings and specifications
  • Identify and analyze project risks and develop strategies to mitigate those risks
  • Prepare and manage tender documents, including bills of quantities, cost estimates, and tender reports
  • Evaluate and negotiate bids from contractors and subcontractors
  • Analyze and compare bids and make recommendations to the project team
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors
  • Ensure that all work meets quality standards and is completed to specifications
  • Prepare and present regular reports on project progress and status
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards
