  • To develop, implement, audit and maintain organization Testing and certification management systems according to relevant ISO/ IEC Standards.
Accountabilities
  • Care towards him/herself, co-workers, clients and organization property. Adhere to health and safety rules and procedures all the time.
  • Adhere to current, internal regulations and policies concerning work to be performed, especially concerning quality, impartiality, and confidentiality, in order for constant progress and willingness to develop own competencies.
  • Liable for property entrusted to the possession of an employee
  • Perform other duties as assigned by GM.
  • Recruit, select, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel and discipline employees of Audit and quality management
  • Developing and implementing quality control audit plans.
  • Define quality and operation procedures in conjunction with operating staff.
  • Set up and maintain controls and documentation procedures.
  • Be responsible for handling appeals against certification decisions.
  • Analyze and respond to client?s complaints both in testing and certification activity.
  • Make sure that testing and certification processes meet relevant quality and technical standards
  • Be responsible for accuracy and timing inspection/ calibration of monitoring and measuring devices in cooperation with laboratory technical staff.
  • Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports
  • Make suggestions for changes and improvements and how to implement them.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
  • Collect and analyze customer satisfaction and rating forms,
  • Prepare information necessary for management review for certification and testing activity.

EducationBachelor of Science / Engineering degree/ MasterLanguagesProficiency in English /Urdu/ ArabicExperience
  • 10+ Years of related experience in the fire testing of construction products and building elements (Last 2+ years in Managerial Level).
  • Past experience in an accredited fire testing laboratory
  • Knowledge of measurements technics in fire testing
  • Experience in international standardization & construction product approval activity.
  • Knowledge and skills to write quality standard operation procedures (SOPs)
SkillsIT Skills- Good Working knowledge of MS OfficeOther Skills
  • Solid knowledge of fire testing and various codes requirements
  • Good familiarity with testing laboratory accreditation process and requirements of ISO/ IEC 17025.
  • Good familiarity with construction product certification body accreditation process and requirements of ISO/ ICE 17065
  • Ability to audit testing laboratory
  • Ability to audit construction product certification body.
