CLOSING DATE 10 OCTOBER 2022.NOTE: Please ONLY apply if you have sufficient experience and skills required as per job description below.Job Summary.Perform a wide variety of Inspection and Quality control operations of a visual, dimensional, and functional nature, making necessary critical observations ,tests,or competing for appropriate documentation. or requireda)Perform Inspection on componentsb)Perform source Inspections at facilityc)Prepare inspection reports and maintain files of inspections documentsd)Review inspection records received for compliancee)Maintain inspection and measuring equipmentf)Prepare and coordinate non-Conformance reports (NCRs) for nonconforming productsg)Perform other work related tasks as assignedh)Comply with all NOV company and HSE policies and proceduresResponsibilities /Accountability & Authority:Day-to-day inspection and reporting activitiesWork in accordance with Standard NOV QMS and HSE procedures & PoliciesSupporting workshop foremen in monitoring, identification, and traceability processAssisting Quality control supervisor in a day-to-day QC activityPreparation of Quality plan /ITP as per client requestPerform dimensional inspection as per NOV Router /Job card, drawings and Specification?s review and approval of final inspection documentsReview and approval of supplier inspection reportsMonitoring and maintaining the instrument/equipment calibration up to dateRegister NCR/CAR/PAR entry into NOV Portal (Intelex /PIMS)Involvement in Internal and External auditsInhouse NDE inspection PT and MPI testing -To Perform and prepare the reportsPreparation of Final DatabookNeed to perform duty as and when required by Shop superiors and job priorityTo perform dimensional, Hardness, MT & PT inspection in the presence of Client /TPI agenciesKnowledge in reading and interpreting the Engineering drawingsBasic knowledge in al, measuring instruments & GaugesWelding knowledge is added advantageKnowledge in basic material standards such as ASTM, AISI, ISO, DIN & ENBehavioral Skills /Competencies & Experience required:Good Relationship with all workshop employees and SuperiorsGood relationship with Client, Supplier &NOV global team membersKnowledge in Inspection, Measuring Instrument, Basic Computer knowledge in MS officeGood communication skills & Preparation of inspection reports and final Data book* Proactive approach towards reducing the potential nonconformities during the repair processQualification (Education/No. of Years of Experience) :Essential:High school (10+2) or Diploma (3 Years) equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience:a. Minimum 5 to 8 years Work experience in Oil & Gas industryb. Minimum 3 to 5 Years? experience as Quality Inspector roleDesirable:a) High school (10+2) with 5 to 10 years? experience in Machine shop Inspection & NDEor5 to 10 Years? experience in QA/QC inspection preferably Oil & Gas industryb) Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with experience of Minimum 8 to 10 year in QA/QCSkills, Training, special knowledge, and/or Language skills:Essential:a. Good Decision-making skillsb. Preparation of QA/QC Reports to managementc. Thorough knowledge in MS Excel, Word, Visio, and power point presentationd. Willing to travel to across MENA region to support repair facilities if neededDesirable:a. Valid ASNT Level II certification in MT& PTb. AWS or CWSIP 3.1 or 3.2 certificate are added advantageQuality Assurance:a. Maintain and enforce quality standardsb. Perform other work -related tasks as assignedc. Ensure test function is performed in a manner consistent with applicable requirements and quality proceduresTraining: Participate in mandatory training assigned by supervisor /HR where necessaryHealth, Safety and Environment:a.
