A Quality Control Technician with the global leader in the creation of Taste & Wellbeing and Fragrance & Beauty, and a key member of our Fragrance Dubai Application team providing essential support for our Fine Fragrance and Fragrance Consumer Products Development teams, and based in Dubai -Your future position?Fragrance is at the heart of Givaudan. We create scents that shape people?s lives.Our Creative Fragrance Application Lab in Dubai provides critical lab support and analytical study for different fragrance applications and ingredients for our Creative Fragrance Development teams for Fine Fragrance and Consumer Products. Thus helping us to provide unique and winning fragrance options for our customers in the Middle East and North Africa region.Due to an internal move and to provide continued support for our new project initiatives, we are now hiring a?Quality Control Technician?for our new Quality Control team established within our Fragrance Application Lab in Dubai. You will perform supporting tasks in the quality function that facilitates the efficiency of QC and support the execution of the Quality Assurance and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) strategies for our Fragrance Creation and Application Labs in Dubai.The role will be based in our Dubai Media City office and report to the Regional Quality Control Manager with excellent opportunities for learning and development in a very creative environment.You will work for a company that touches billions of consumers more than a hundred times a day. • Perform and record essential routine equipment maintenance and daily calibration control checks.
• Support other laboratory functions: prepare solutions, maintain lab supplies, file paper records and documentation, prepare fragrance samples for despatch, store and retrieve retained & reference samples.

• Provide administrative support for Quality Control tests such as weighing balance, densitometer, refractometer, moisture balances, Karl Fischer titrator, Sieve testing equipment, Gas Chromatography, and colour.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in Quality Control.

• Promote a clean laboratory environment and lab equipment following EH&S guidelines and good laboratory practices.
• Administer sample requests and facilitate the order of fragrance oils.
• Promptly record and communicate test results.
