Job Description

Position Title:QA QC EngineerEmployment Type:Full TimeSalary: all inclusive depending on experience and qualificationsJob Location:UAEAbout the Client: A leading oil and gas company in the UAE.

  • Welding procedure and welder qualification shall be interpreted as defined ASME Sec IX.
  • Welding procedure for ladder and platform structure, handrail and other shall comply with AWS D 1.1.
  • Verify that plates thicker than 40mm shall be normalized or quench tempered, killed, made to fine-grain practice, and impact tested.
  • Review of QA/QC documentation submitted by the refurbishment contractor and any other design documentation to ensure that design and work is in line with requirements of the SOW and international standards
  • Prepare Inspection & Test Plan in accordance with International Codes & Standards / client contract
