Our client is a leading marine logistics company. We�are looking to recruit a Purchase Specialist

Creating and processing requisitions, inquiries and purchase orders according to the work flow in BS Purchasing
Ensuring cost effective forwarding of purchases to vessels
Invoice verification and follow up
Ensure that all records are correct in BS Purchasing

The Purchasing Team�is responsible for vessels procurement under full managementThe Purchasing Team is particularly responsible for:

Arranging the supply of necessary stores, spares and lubricating oil
Arranging for the sampling and testing of bunkers and lubricating oil
Assisting the Contract manager in negotiating and preparing purchasing contracts with preferred suppliers and monitoring the contractual terms
Oversee the purchasing requirements of the Fleet Management Team and negotiating with the various suppliers
