Job Description

Our client, a leading Mental health and wellness clinic in Dubai, is currently looking for Psychologists, with background in Clinical or Counselling.In this role, you will have the following responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Identify psychological, emotional or behavioural issues
  • Diagnose psychological, emotional or behavioural disorders
  • Develop and implement treatment plans and therapeutic processes
  • Help clients define goals and plan action to achieve personal, social, educational and vocational development and adjustment
  • Monitor client progress through regular meetings or sessions
  • Teach classes
  • Conduct research
  • Publish research findings in industry journals
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
  • Bachelors degree in the field of psychology and Postgraduate full time Masters degree (includes MSc, MA, M.Phil) of minimum two (2) years course duration from a psychology faculty or an educational faculty with focus on psychology provided that the bachelor degree is minimum four (4) years duration
  • Specific expertise in one or more of the following areas is a plus: Psycho-educational Assessments, Parenting, Working with children under 12 years
  • Relevant clinical practice in the UAE or outside UAE
  • With valid DHA license or at least DHA eligibility
  • Willing to work in Dubai, UAE
