The VP- Protocol provides leadership, strategic direction and oversees projects related to the protocol units. Heads of the Planning, Programs, Secretariat, Visits and the Protocol Guest Groups units will ensure the Protocol department is on-track with these projects supporting this responsibility. The role of the Vice-President Protocol is to oversee the overall Protocol projects and manage them on behalf of the Senior Vice President through the development and implementation of the service strategies, VVIP and VIP client requirements across the expo site before and during the Expo 2020 Dubai.The main responsabilities of this role will include:- Develop operational strategies including but not limited to those servicing the needs of VVIP, internal and external stakeholders, and agree them with the SVP ? Protocol;- Improve the Protocol activities and content continuously, to ensure Expo 2020 Dubai is a thought leader and innovator platform in this area;- Pro-actively champion Protocol to the different stakeholders, to ensure that it rallies their interest and translates into compelling experiences, initiatives and collaboration;- Prepare plans and budgets for the Protocol projects and visits;- Manage all Protocol projects & visits and support with the development of tasks;- Ensure the Protocol and Hospitality activities provide the highest international standards;- Lead the milestone planning of all Protocol areas on a monthly and weekly basis.
