# Identify the key IT infrastructure related requirements which should include infrastructure application as wellas non- functional requirements such as performance, capacity, availability, security , service levels and systemmanagement.# Ensure achievement of project timelines, efficient use of resources and productivity to meet the projectobjectives.# Maintain awareness of technological developments in information technology / intelligent traffic system.# Follow up of projects to ensure timely execution , adherence to contract specifications and reporting to thesection senior manager, administrative liaison for contractors and business partners as well as any other tasksduly assigned.# Lead a team of dedicated engineers, contractor engineering / technical resources and professionals from theinformation technology and electronic tolling system field, to carry out the short term and long term planningfor enhancing and expanding the toll system infrastructure , network and systems.# Research , identify , test, and select technology products required for solution delivery.# Review technical and commercial proposals from RTA appointed contractors and partners for activitiesinvolving design, implementation , operations and maintenance. Prepare evaluation reports and provide advicein matters related to decision making to the director of the department. Coordinate with supplier for properITS processes are followed during the changes and ensure the execution of projects is done in accordance withthe all applicable RTA policies and standards.# Perform other responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate.# Assume leadership role for helping the development , coordination and maintenance of all businesscontingency plans and mapping changes to IT specifications to ensure continued ability to recover, in the eventof an unforeseen disruption to facilities, technology systems or applications.# Lead engineers in the implementation of the Toll systems , ensure the full obligation to the adoptedspecifications of design and measures of policy, ensure the integration , and execute Toll systems projects tocompliance with approved designs and specifications engineering activities.# Analyse , plan and develop new services for Dubai Toll system to offer more options to customers in rechargingtheir Salik accounts by adding mobile payments, online interface through banks, Kiosks, e-voucher, and newpartners to provide efficient services for customers.# Review technical architecture and provide the inputs for IT disaster recovery and IT infrastructureimplementation solutions that extract and maximize business value from it investments encompassesarchitecture , engineering , and operations services for the IT Disaster Recovery strategy, innovation,operations, and infrastructure required to deliver efficient and effective platforms fundamental to businesssuccess.# Manage and improve the Dubai Toll System interfaces for Salik Violation management in improving , enhancingand re- engineering to maximize the benefit to RTA and improve the customer experience.# Demonstrate success in evaluation and selecting systems utilizing best practices ( ITIL,ISO 27001-Information Security) methodologies to meet business objectives# Develop the current DTCS System to include any upgrades ( such as operational, financial, and customerservice bank ends) , the introductions of new features.# Add new partnership agreements/ develop successful partnerships with strategic partners for variouselectronic payments and services# Design, technical review and implementation of system engineering technologies, infrastructure , identifyingemerging technologies and disaster recovery solutions for Dubai Toll system.# Manage project key initiatives involving data center design and for redundancy purposes as well as lead effortsto analyse business impact, Data Center and Recovery Time objectives if a serious disruption were to occur.Oversee and participate in all DR and BCP testing phase for Salik systems to insure timely recovery in theevent of a disaster.Education# Bachelor degree in Information Technology / Computer Science from a recognized university with PMP/Masters preferred.Skills# Goal-driven leader who maintains a productive climate and confidently motivates, mobilizes, and coachesemployees to meet high performance standards.# Results-driven achiever with exemplary planning and organizational skills, along with a high degree of detailorientation# Innovative problem-solver who can generate workable solutions and resolve complaints# Experience with Hardware and Operating System design, configuration, integration, and support.# Good knowledge of the Local Area Networks ( LANs) , Wide Area Network ( WAN) including hardware/software installation.# Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.# Highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamliningcomplex work processes.# Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues.# 8 years of relevant experience.# Performing IT infrastructure architecture assessment.# Flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multipleconcurrent projects.# Good knowledge of Security, IVR/ PBX, SMS, Exchange/ AD, SQL server etc.# Working knowledge of ITIL , ISO 27001 Information Security, RFID, Toll Systems,?.# Computer-literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering wide variety of applications# Working experience of Windows Server Family, Blade Technology , Storage Area Networks and clustering andNAS.
