Job Description

PROJECT MANAGER- ANIMAL PRODUCTIONJOB PURPOSE: Animal production engineer refers to a wide range of job types that focus on the care and breeding of different kinds of animals. Professionals in the field include livestock, dairy and poultry farmers. These farm professionals are responsible for breeding, marketing and caring for the animals on the farm.???? ???? ????? ??????? ???????? ?????? ????? ?? ????? ??????? ???? ???? ??? ????? ?????? ????? ?????? ?? ?????????.????? ?????? ??????? ???????? ????????. ? ?? ??????? ?? ????? ?????? ?????? ????????? ?? ???????.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the entire operation of farm and farm labours.
  • Direct and coordinate livestock farm activities, such as breeding, rearing, maintenance, and shipment of livestock.
  • Plan and implement policies and procedures to attain profitability and ensure compliance with government regulations.
  • Review production and storage records to determine productivity.
  • Prepare breeding or hatching schedules based on customer orders, market forecasts, and available facilities and equipment.
  • Examine livestock for illness or disease and advises designated personnel of action to be taken or secures veterinarian services.
  • Inspect facilities and equipment to ensure compliance with sanitation standards and to determine maintenance and repair requirements.
  • Research technical literature for data on breeding, rearing, habits, diets, diseases, and treatment of various species of birds and animals.
  • Purchase supplies and equipment, such as eggs, feed, sanitation chemicals, incubators, and brooders.
  • Interpret genetic data and advises customers regarding breeding, brooding, feeding, and sanitation practices.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5+ years experience in similar function in animal husbandry/ animal production.REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor?s Degree or Higher qualification in Agricultural / Animal Production and some equivalent training certificates
