Essential Roles and ResponsibilitiesStrategic Roles and Responsibilities? Overall responsibility for programme/project management and governance activities across the retail business? Create and implement best practice programme/project management vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance. To establish efficient portfolio management practices to prioritize projects based on the criticality to the business? Ensure that programme/project management strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs? Work with Corporate/Group Risk Management to develop and deliver business improvements through building, implementing, embedding governance best practice across BaU and delivery of special projects? Identify strategic priorities (from governance perspective) by working along with management within Retail which caters to improvement in overall governance structure and non- operational risk culture within the organization. This would include embedding risk awareness in all critical non-operational processes and providing support to other business units on governance matters? Ownership and management of the retail contracts? (stock) database, including development, maintenance, monitoring, management reporting, quality assurance (review) and supporting timely closing of contracts? Support management to deliver Company Rocks ensuring strategic execution through the development of work plans, gathering and generation of all relevant information and data, engagement and communication of key stakeholders including periodic reporting to GroupFunctional Roles and Responsibilities ? Create and manage programme plan gateways, functional milestones and deliverables while managing constraints to ensure delivery to programme timing and budget? Work with business stakeholders on identifying, validating and implementing concepts, defining guidelines for stakeholder management and communication, and aligning on project outcomes with overall business and key stakeholder requirements? Ensure progress is monitored, risks identified and appropriate mitigation against non-delivery is in place? Produce and monitor budgets for all programme activities? Driving governance initiatives and special projects with Group Risk and Internal Audit teams across the retail business? Monitoring and enforcement of governance policies, procedures and processes in retail? Management reporting on all retail stock/brand contracts for timely and effective decision making by senior management and division heads? Develop and build plans for the programme management and governance function for the Retail Business keeping in view the programme pipeline and resource requirements of the business? Build strong working relationships with external and internal customersPeople Management Roles and Responsibilities? Mentor and coach the Joint Venture analyst on successful project delivery and other key stakeholders within the business? Manage large cross-functional and diverse teams for the effective delivery of projects? Establish and manage the programme management and governance teamJob RequirementsEducation/Certification and Continued Education? Educated to degree level (preferably Masters) in Business Management or related field? Project Management qualification e.g. PRINCE2, PMPYears of Experience ? Over 10 years of experience in successfully managing multiple large-scale project
