Based at the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Dubai our agency provides advice, customized information and practical assistance to companies in the MENA region.General CharacteristicsNFIA Middle East & North Africa (NFIA MENA) based in the Netherlands Consulate General in Dubai is looking for a full time (35 hours/week) Project Manager to join the Executive Director and Assistant. The PM is primarily charged with performing lead generation and developing & closing projects. The PM reports to the Executive Director regarding the quality and progress of the work.We are looking for a pro-active, fairly independent Project Manager. You will be responsible for managing the project portfolio and delivering a set target of projects. You will be expected to manage a network of business partners in the MENA region and in the Netherlands. As part of ?One Team? you will have regular interactions with the Economic Affairs colleagues at Dutch posts in the MENA region.Tasks and Responsibilities

• Identifying companies interested in expanding business operations in (investing in) continental Europe / The Netherlands.
• Visit and participate in events aiming to generate leads for NFIA, liaising with contacts of all seniority.
• Managing leads and projects.
• Gathering management & market information for reporting & presenting in the team.
• (Contribute to) periodic economical and sectoral reporting.
• Preparation of files, presentations and other documents relevant to NFIA MENA.
• Follow and report on relevant economic rules, regulations & developments in MENA region.
• Manage relations with the headquarters of NFIA in The Hague, regional and local authorities in charge of investment promotion, as well as local intermediaries such as tax consultants and accountants and our contacts at the Dutch embassies in the MENA region.
• Support the Executive Director who is visiting companies from MENA region that have current operations in the Netherlands (account management / after-sales service).
• Assist with setting up marketing activities & events.
• Registration of relevant business contacts & project progress in CRM system Achilles.
• Preparation and (co-)organization of incoming and outgoing visits and (economic) missions.

• Successful initiating, managing and closing of projects (= business setup in the Netherlands).
• Effective and efficient support to businesses in the MENA region with operations in Netherlands.
• Creation of a strong and relevant network of contacts within both the public and private sector in MENA region.
• Timely and relevant reporting on economic developments and business opportunities between the MENA region and the Netherlands.
• Up to date registration of relevant business contacts & project progress in CRM system Achilles.
