The ideal candidate is to have strong technical awareness and have a background asan engineering Graduate with basic experience in preparing progress for projects during designand construction stages.Role Details ? Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:? Responsible for supporting Delivery Team on preparing project status of Projects? Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned tasks? Interact daily with the consultant and contractor to ensure that they attend to theproject requirements and ensure they are working according to the schedule in the site? Perform overall progress report of the project.? Cooperate and communicate effectively with Senior project manager and other projectparticipants to provide assistance and technical support? Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions? Assists with the development of the strategies and initiatives to enhance the successfuldelivery of projects or specified components, both in terms of design, construction andwhere applicable, operation and maintenance companies.? Form and support the Project Manager to engender a cohesive project team. .? Help in the issuance of the weekly, monthly reports? Contract Strategy Development with the respective Project Managers? Arrange, attend design team meeting, progress and other appropriate liaison meetings.? Monitor progress on site and minimize actual and potential delays to the constructionprogram? Monitor, co-ordinate all aspects of the project including but not limited to time, quality,safety, design and environment? Generally be aware of and ensure the Project Design and Delivery respects theCompanies Sustainable development aspirations.? Generally ensure the project Design & Delivery respects the company?s aspirations onHealth and SafetyOther Context (if applicable):The project engineer is expected to work in a team environment, improve his technical writtenskills and gain good understanding of his / her projects. Whereas Project Managers and SeniorProject Managers will bring a broader perspective, you are expected to excel in your particulararea of expertise.
