Job Description

Our client are a leading power generation and water developer and operator with large assets across the MENA region. They are currently developing a large-scale water desalination project and looking for a Project Director - Seawater Reverse Osmosis for their UAE office.You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the EPC Contractor and site execution teams
  • Establishes and maintains relationships and develops a high level of trust and credibility with contractors and suppliers
  • Coordinates overall field effort including monitoring construction and commissioning activities and contractor compliance with safety, schedule, start-up, and testing activities
  • Reviews, analyses, and reports both weekly and monthly on project safety, quality performance, costs, and schedule
  • Conducts the weekly and monthly contractor meetings
  • Adheres to project safety and quality standards as applicable to duties and accountabilities
Core Competencies
  • Extensive experience in delivery large water desalination projects including construction, commissioning, site management and PC contractor management and requires the ability to manage a large multi-cultural workforce
Key Requirements
  • Minimum 12-15 years experience in a similar industry
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 7 years experience in a Managerial role - managing contractors on desalination projects
