The Project Coordinator assists and supports Project Managers & Senior Project Managers with a range of Project Management tasks within the Urbanism & Planning business line. The role will support the management of the overall project, including staff resource, technical, financial (cost profitability, pricing & cash collection), bid negotiation, quality and client satisfaction areas using consistent processes and tools. Independently analyses and applies solutions to challenging problems within the scope of expertise by using critical thinking.

  • Assisting Project Managers and PM team
  • Project Financial control
  • Assisting Project Managers in preparing project Financial Status Reporting and MPR reviews.
  • Compliance of Project Delivery System (PDS)
  • Compliance of Project Data Quality
  • Assist project management team with administrative support.
  • Assist project management team with population of AECOM Bid Models
  • Prepare project design programmes /schedules
  • Performs other responsibilities and duties associated with this position, as may be appropriate and dictated by business requirements
QualificationsMinimum 3 years project coordination experience required, preferably within urban design, planning, landscape team and experience of collaboration with clients, design and engineering disciplines on high profile international urban development projects. The candidate will be involved with distinctive and unique urban design / master planning / landscaping concepts in line with AECOMs vision. Bachelors Degree in relevant fields e.g. Project Management, Design, Engineering or other relevant BSc Degree Plus PMP certification (or equivalent). Working towards a professional membership (ICE / ASCE etc. is strongly preferred). Relevant registration required in Qatar, Bahrain and UAE.
