? Minimum Educational Qualification ? Diploma / Technical Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing / Tool & Die field.? Minimum 10 years of experience working in reputed machine shops with 3-4 years working at a supervisory level. ? Experience supervising 2-3 staff and 50 workmen with multiple shifts? Experience working with the following types of machines is mandatory:o Conventional lathe & milling machineso Horizontal boring machineso Large VTLso Slotting and gear hobbing machineso CNC lathes, turnmills and milling machines ? Experience with repair welding and fabrication is mandatory. Candidate should have thorough understanding of weldable materials & welding processes / procedures.? Experience working with overhauling of large assemblies of rotating equipment used in cement plants, steel mills and other heavy industries.? Expert in managing and motivating people to achieve high output and efficiency.? Expert in judging an operator?s and supervisor?s performance/skills & train him to increase it.? Expert in implementing and maintaining discipline, safety norms, QMS procedures and housekeeping.? Expert in machine load planning based on Job cards in hand in order to achieve high on-time delivery rates. ? Knowledge of latest cutting tools and how to use them for maximum productivity? Expert in designing & making fixtures for high productivity and part quality. ? Software skills required:o Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Powerpoint. Experience with MS Project or equivalent is a plus.o Experience with mastercam or equivalvent CAM softwareo Experience working with Solidworks, Inventor or equivalent 3D modelling software.? Experience with machine tool preventive maintenance is a plus.
