We know that it?s our people that differentiates who we are and what we do?and that is why we are keen to hire world class talent like you.Role OverviewThe successful candidate will join our existing Planet product team and will work across the business to define the product proposition and drive the Product roadmaps for our global financial and merchant partners, this will be primarily around our processing and multicurrency products, Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) and Multi-Currency Pricing (MCP). The individual will need a sound technical understanding of the implementation process of DCC and MCP across channels and markets. This will include working with technical colleagues on the product development process impacted by legal, specific market requirements and enhancement of customer experience leading to improved penetration rates and increased volumes. In addition, the role will work alongside colleagues managing DCC and MCP pricing models and relevant compliance matters to understand the impact to merchants and their markets. It will be a requirement that the individual?s market knowledge be kept up to date through awareness of market trends and through frequent analysis of competitors.What you?ll be doing+ Ensuring that the Planet DCC and MCP products continue to be industry leading solutions providing value to Planet and to the indirect partners Planet works with.+ Ensure sales teams have accurate pricing models and cost simulation tools reflecting accurate currency rate parameters and reports aligned to the market proposition.+ Monitor DCC / MCP to ensure optimal performance of multicurrency products+ Be the go-to product expert on DCC and MCP across the business. Be the bridge between sales and technical, operational & financial teams on ensuring an efficient product lifecycle process.+ Advice and approve Payment Scheme details for multicurrency products+ Play active role with commercial teams in assisted selling, presentations of DCC and MCP propositions, being the subject matter expert on all aspects of pricing models.+ Work alongside technical & relevant project teams on technical delivery items and pipeline related to DCC and MCP product enablement.+ Manage the customer experience and aim to increase penetration rates through enhancing the product across all channels through identifying and sharing best practices.+ Be closely aligned and aware of market trends and competition in the DCC and MCP+ Where required, assist in sharing best practice and upskilling the DCC and MCP product knowledge internally+ Assist with partner/ merchant DCC / MCP training when required this way to optimize opt-in rate+ Build training materials for internal and external use ? clarifying the specifics of the multicurrency products and the commercials for these. Moreover work closely with Marketing team in ensuring the product features are accurately reflected in first class product collateral and relevant market campaigns.What you will need to bring to Planet+ At least two years of product manager experience or similar/equivalent+ Tech savy+ Payment market and technology experience preferably in customer present card payments, experience with DCC and MCP will be a bonus.+ Ability to take business requirements and translate them into detailed product specifications or enhancements.+ Analytical approach to complex problems, generating pragmatic solutions with consensus.+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills with customers, business and technical team members across the organization.+ Strong interpersonal skills and an effective communication style.+ Ability to effectively communicate and work in a distributed environment with colleagues located in different geographical regions across various levels of departments and organizations to facilitate meetings with business and technical audience.+ Detail oriented planner with ability to manage workload, capacity and prioritization with a structured approach.+ Pro-active and organized to function well and meet deadlines in a high-paced environment.
