Job Description

Landscape Product Developer and Designer using Revit SoftwarePosition Overview:As a Landscape Product Developer and Designer, your primary responsibility will be to utilize Revit software to create and develop landscape design products. You will collaborate with a team of landscape architects, engineers, and designers to bring innovative and sustainable landscape solutions to life. Your role will involve designing, modeling, and producing detailed 3D models of landscape elements, including hardscapes, softscapes, and site amenities.Key Responsibilities:

  1. Landscape Product Development: Use Revit software to design and develop various landscape products, such as outdoor furniture, lighting fixtures, planters, and other site amenities that meet project specifications and industry standards.
  2. 3D Modeling: Create accurate and detailed 3D models of landscape elements, ensuring that designs are visually appealing, functional, and aligned with the overall project vision.
  3. Collaboration: Work closely with landscape architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide design insights, and incorporate feedback throughout the development process.
  4. Product Prototyping: Develop physical or virtual prototypes of landscape products to test their feasibility, functionality, and aesthetics.
  5. Material Research: Identify and research suitable materials for landscape products, considering durability, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
  6. Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and material lists, to support the manufacturing and construction processes.
  7. Quality Control: Ensure the accuracy and quality of design work, reviewing models and drawings for errors, omissions, and compliance with industry standards.
  8. Innovation and Trends: Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in landscape design and product development to continually improve the design process.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelors degree in landscape architecture, Industrial Design, or related field.
  • Proven experience using Revit software for landscape design and product development.
  • Strong proficiency in 3D modeling, rendering, and visualization techniques.
  • Knowledge of landscape materials, construction methods, and fabrication processes.
  • Understanding of sustainable design principles and their application in landscape products.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
