Job Description

We supply original and OEM equipment of brands like Koomatsu, CAT, Cummins, and more.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Procurement Logistics Specialist located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role calls for close work with sales and management to ensure fulfillment of client requests, maintain and keep an up-to-date inventory of stock items, compare and analyze vendor pricing, maintain all relevant records, and communicate with Freight Forwarding companies for Shipment planning and management.Key responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining strong key vendor relationships
  • Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities to diversify procurement of product
  • Analyze market prices to ensure cost-efficient sourcing
  • Coordinate with sales and management, process all client inquiries and ensure timely provision of quotations
  • Maintain client request logs, ensure timely feedback and update suppliers on all requests
  • Drive conversion of pricing requests to orders in coordinated efforts with the Sales
  • Manage ordering process, ensure timely supply of goods by vendors and further shipment to clients
  • Devise and put into action effective procurement strategies, ensuring the acquisition of essential goods and services to meet operational demands
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors
  • Prepare and manage all procurement-related documentation
  • Shipment planning and execution with the support of third-party service providers
  • Develop and implement procurement policies
  • Supplier Management - Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance
