Job Description

Procurement OfficerJob Location : UAEKey Responsibilities:•Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor vendor performance to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods and services.•Analyze and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and make recommendations to the management team.•Review and approve purchase orders to ensure compliance with IIQAFs policies and procedures.•Identify cost-saving opportunities through market research, bench marking, and competitive pricing analysis.•Act as the main point of contact for all procurement-related inquiries from internal departments and external stakeholders.•Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures in accordance with best practices and industry standards.•Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.•Collaborate with the finance team to monitor and report on budget and spending related to procurement activities.•Conduct regular audits to identify any potential risks and areas for improvement in the procurement process.Qualifications:•Bachelors degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.•Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and vendor management.•Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.•Ability to work independently and make effective decisions.•Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement management tools.•Proven track record of achieving cost savings and improving procurement processes.•Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
