Procurement Executive - Interior and FitJob Location : Dubai, United Arab EmiratesKey Responsibilities:•Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure the best prices and quality. Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure continuous supply and favorable terms.•Conduct regular market research to stay updated on material trends and pricing.•Process purchase orders for materials, equipment, and services in accordance with project requirements.•Ensure all purchases are made within budget and adhere to project timelines.•Monitor the status of orders and ensure on-time delivery of materials and services.•Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and manage stock to prevent over-ordering or shortages.•Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and handling of materials.•Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.•Inspect materials upon delivery to ensure they meet the required specifications and standards.•Handle and resolve any issues related to damaged or non-compliant materials.•Maintain accurate procurement records, including supplier contracts, purchase orders, and invoices.•Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.•Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts related to procurement activities.•Work closely with the design and project management teams to understand material requirements and project timelines.•Provide input on cost estimates and project feasibility based on material availability and pricing.•Collaborate with the finance department to ensure timely payments to suppliers and resolve any billing issues.Qualifications:•Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.•2-4 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the interior design, construction, or related industry.•Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.•Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with procurement software is a plus.•Excellent communication and organizational skills.•Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.•Knowledge of materials, finishes, and furnishings used in interior design and construction..
