Job Description

Procurement Executive (UAE Nationals)KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:ÿ

  1. Handling end-to-end procurement activities for departments & entities such as Turnkey sites (CAR, Mali, South Sudan, Somalia, Uganda, Yemen, Haiti, Congo and Liberia), and UAE entities (TCT JAFZA, CSR and Business excellence department).
  2. Research and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers.
  3. Request minimum 3 quotes, especially for more than 10k aed transactions and compare prices for maximum savings.
  4. Review and analyze all vendors on price options, review products or services to ensure quality and specifications as requested.
  5. Track incoming supplies, and ensure all material or services are as per specifications mentioned by the requestor and are received on timely basis and in case of any delays; internal stakeholder is informed about the same.
  6. Registering potential vendors with proper documentation in the system after seeking the approval from Procurement Manager. Organizing and updating database of existing suppliers along vendor documents.
  7. Work with team members and purchasing manager to develop future purchasing plans and source potential relationships with vendors.
  8. Coordinate with finance team members for timely payments to vendors as per agreed Payment terms.
  9. Create and maintain good relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  10. Shipment facilitation of procured materials to site, via sea or air shipment. Processing related activities including documentation, supervision during container loading or package handover to forwarder and tracking shipment, informing requestors for any delays.ÿ
  11. Intercompany and SO reconciliation report to finance every month end.
  12. Reports generation and data management assigned by manager from time to time.
