They have new sustainable communities and developments which catch the imagination of a world audience with their projects.Role: Procurement DirectorJob Location: DubaiKey Role: As a Procurement Director you will be responsible for managing the procurement department effectively driving the sourcing process, procurement, vendor and supplier risk management, commercial contract management to optimize the cost and ensure a consistently high standard of performance.Must:

  • Experience: Min 10+ Years in Master Plan Development/ Sustainability/ Mixed Use Large Scale projects procurement
  • A degree in Supply Chain/ Procurement/ Materials Management/Business/ Economics or Real Estate related discipline;
  • Procurement more than Billion and more handling preferable.
  • Procurement Management across Multiple Projects in GCC.
  • Review Supplier agreements, prepare monthly reports.
  • Manage contractors procurement approvals.
  • Liaise with Management and other Directors for procurement Matters.
  • Assisting for continuous review and improvement of process and procedures in Support of overall dept. function.
  • Liaison with Legal and 3rd parties in provision with construction contract administration and support.
  • Inventory Management, working knowledge of Construction Materials, Supply Chain and imports.
  • Forecast Material requirement, Cost Analysis as per projects requirement
  • Procure project material cost effectively and within budgets as per schedule to ensure raw material stock availability
  • Develop and maintain a process/system to monitor and track Quality and timely delivery of materials
  • Develop and implement new purchasing strategies to deliver ongoing cost reductions and process simplification
  • Ensure supply of raw material as per the Project plan and estimated time lines
  • Resolves issues pertaining to rejection and invoices, vendor or contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers
  • Establish new relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure adequate resources for all projects and to continually improve pricing and quality of work.
