This is how you will make a difference :-?Act as local face of procurement, work hand in hand with the business bringing together local buying needs and demand management and aligning with Regional and Global Category procurement strategy. The role will act as the key interface between Procurement and the relevant country/countries/cluster Units/Heads and will act as a Business Partner with the following goals?Work with Regional Procurement Business Partner and key Global Procurement team members to define & execute the functional strategy?Work with the Global Category Teams to develop, execute and be accountable for implementing Regional/local Strategies?Establish and lead multi-functional local category activities through the sourcing lifecycle and in line with the Procurement strategy and agreed targets for cost & quality?Serve as primary interface to respective country/Regional Functional Leaders to align procurement activities with operating priorities, influence behaviours and deliver leading financial and performance objectives?Be recognised as the Affiliate/Local centre of Procurement expertise and utilize this knowledge to act as a ?Change Agent? for implementing new commercial models and ways of working?Work with key Affiliate stakeholders to ensure robust Procurement processes at a local and regional level?Implement Global/regional sourcing initiatives with accountability to work with the the Affiliate/Divisional Units and key stakeholders to deliver committed value and relevant functional, business and performance objectives?Engage with internal stakeholders in order to generate ideas and opportunities and ensure the Category strategy and plans are aligned to functional and business targets?Gather and challenge requirements, tailor supplier requests, negotiate and finalize contract to execute sourcing / tendering activities by working closely with local businesses
