Process Safety EngineerJob Location : UAEJob Duties & Responsibilities:•Preparation/design of extinguishing systems.•Determination of emergency exits and escape routes.•Procedural design of F&G systems.•Procedural design of electrical hazardous classification documents.•Experience with physical effects modeling and quantitative risk assessment (Phast software preferred).•Facilitating hazard workshops (HAZID, HAZOP, SIL classification, Bow-Ties, ALARP, SIMOPs, Facility Layout, and Siting).•Developing ALARP demonstrations for process safety risks and HSE cases.•Knowledge of sour gas design, operations standards, and guidelines.•Familiarity with Total and Shell standards and guidelines.•Knowledge of fire protection standards and guidelines.Qualifications:•University degree in Chemical Engineering, Oil & Gas, Safety Engineering, or Fire Engineering.•Over 13 years of overall experience.•8 years of experience in a similar position within the oil & gas (upstream) sector.•Proficiency in Phast and PIPENET software.
