Primary Homeroom TeacherThe ideal candidate should have experience in the following areas:•Acting as the primary educator and mentor for an assigned homeroom class.•Planning, formulating, and executing lesson plans aligned with the US Common Core Standards.•Establishing a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and personal development.•Building strong connections with students, parents, and colleagues to enhance student success and well-being.•Monitoring and evaluating student progress, offering feedback and assistance when necessary.•Collaborating with fellow teaching staff to strategize lessons and coordinate interdisciplinary activities and events.•Engaging in professional development opportunities to improve teaching skills and stay abreast of best practices.•Creating a literacy-rich environment by fostering a love for reading in the classroom.??Qualifications : ??•Bachelor’s or master’s degree in education or a subject; however, must be KHDA approved and have a teaching license from MOE.•Previous experience as a homeroom teacher or similar role in the UAE or the GULF region using the American Common Core State Standards•Project-based, experiential learning experience•Strong literacy development skills in early years and primary•Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.??
