RE shall have enough Project management skills to monitor the progress of the works and to manage all contractual obligations of respective EPC works Contract and should have good technical experience in the relevant field.subject. The Principal Resident Engineer position will be responsible for the following:Supervise all details of the construction of the Project and shall make all efforts to ensure the technical correctness, expeditious and quality construction thereof in accordance with the terms of the contract. In close collaboration with the client designs, documents, and manages implementation of essential components of the transmission water networks and pumping systems. Provides appropriate and timely technical advice on matters relating to construction of the project assets. Acts as the lead problem solver in incorporating industry standards and modern technology into the water transmission & pumping systems. Acts as the clients representative in design meetings with consultants and contractors and suggests solutions and recommendations in evolving a standard design philosophy. Develops, establishes, and upgrades design and implementation standards, with periodic reviews to ensure the client remains current with evolving design methods.Establish test procedures and detailed plans and criteria to conduct tests for all field construction work, field survey and laboratory tests all in accordance with applicable international standards and codes of practice and as approved by ClientEnsure that all project deliverables / reports covering all activities detailed in the SOW are provided on a timely mannerQualifications Bachelors degree in civil or mechanical Engineering. Professional Engineer certification is preferred. 15+ years experience in designing, implementing and/or managing Water transmission pipelines & pumping systems and associated components in the 24x7 continuous process drainage, sewer or water utility industry. Hands-on experience in the relevant filed and demonstrable work experience on at least 4 major projects. Developed interpersonal and communications skills, including the ability to interact effectively with multicultural teams. Ability to work effectively and diligently as an individual and team member to resolve complex faults on critical equipment.Ability to lead and supervise a team of multi engineering disciplines staff and contractor within contract period and meeting Authority quality objectives.Ability to prepare and present technical and non-technical documentation.Proven ability to perform in a key technical leadership role, good written and oral communications skills, and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are also required. In addition, must be knowledgeable of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on the project.Ability to demonstrate his experience in respect of the technical proposals evaluation and its constructability, technology deployment, solving the technical problems that may arise during construction#LI-MiddleEast
