Job Description

Principal Full Stack Engineer Global Travel Organisation - Dubai, UAE Base Monthly Rate: AED 30k (GBP 5700 per month) ? AED 50k (GBP 9500 per month) with Medical Cover, Paid Leave and End of Service Gratuity initial 12 Month ContractAs a preferred recruitment partner to one of the most prestigious organisations in the world, we have been asked to assist in the hire of a number of Principal Full Stack Engineer to join them on initial 12-month contracts (expected to extend beyond, or eventually go perm). This position is based in our client?s global HQ in the vibrant city of Dubai, although initial remote working will be accepted due to travel restrictions.Looking to increase diversity within the group, our client is keen to receive applications from talented individuals who may be looking to relocate and work in Dubai.   • In-depth understanding of key Java and Spring frameworks, data-structures, algorithms and design patterns.
  • In-depth understanding threading and performance tuning of Java Spring based middleware systems.
  • Experience integrating into back-end services and third-party solutions.
  • Experience delivering apps that follow of Java and Spring design principles.
  • In-depth experience with performance and memory tuning tools.
  • Strong understanding of GIT code versioning tools.
  • Experience working in a continuous integration context.
  • Experience developing solutions supporting multi-lingual applications.
  • Experience working on commercial software projects with large user deployments.
  • Strong Java programming experience.
  • Experience with travel related systems is preferred.
?Responsibilities?????????Designing and developing advanced middleware services for the mobile platforms.?????????Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability using a Test-Driven Development approach.?????????Able to work efficiently and effectively in an Agile process environment. Collaborating to continuously improve team development practices and processes in that regard.?????????Able to break down complex technical problems into simple, implementable solutions.?????????Maintain a full and complete understanding of solution interdependencies and limitations.?????????Maintain a full and complete understanding of backend Java development life cycle.?????????Help realise practical and robust middleware architecture for Mobile applications.?????????Support and control the technical factors related to the resilience, performance, quality, and responsiveness of systems.?????????Ensure and control code quality and development level testing.If you are a good fit for the above requirements and are interested in this exciting opportunity, we would be very keen to discuss this further with you.
