Job PurposeSummary:Emirates SkyCargo is a world-class air cargo carrier, with a vast network of destinations, cutting-edge facilities, and a focus on innovation, efficiency, and sustainability. We are looking for a Pricing Analyst who will deliver operational pricing and distribution support to SkyCargo express and courier products, ensuring sales are conducted at an optimum price mix, and contracts applicable to our global, regional and local tenders are managed according to defined policies and procedures.You will minimise revenue leakage by implementing control mechanisms, monitoring compliance level and applying pricing directives and measure success through the regular review and analysis of market and commercial performance.Below are the key responsibilities of the role:Pricing- Develop pricing procedures and policies for all key disciplines and ensure documentation is regularly reviewed, improved, agreed and communicated effectively across all pricing, capacity control and commercial teams.- Develop and maintain change management principles relative to pricing systems and teams ensuring that the capability of any new system or enhancement has undergone impact analysis on existing standards and procedures and any updates are identified and communicated to the relevant team.- Review and analyse market variants and report back to the commercial lead with recommendations to minimise any revenue loss, reduce operating costs, capitalize on market opportunities and maintain yield.- Manage and maintain pricing data for electronic web based selling mediums to promote multi-channel distribution of products and services which reduce transaction costs and achieve process efficiency and a strategic market position.- Review and analyse under collections, identifying those related to non-compliance of policy and make recommendations to protect SkyCargos express an courier interests based on accounting guidelines and commercial considerations.- Audit express systems to ensure tariffs, surcharges, etc. are accurate and that the correct revenue is accounted and billed, identifying areas of non-compliance and liaising with relevant stations to take appropriate action.- Review information on demands and derivation of supply and proposal preparations. Clarify bid conditions and facilitate the preparation of tenders, contributing to cost and price calculations. Co-ordinate tender reviews and monitor the management of bids to ensure timelines are met and that the tender and bids are aligned with the framework provided by the customer.Generic- Analyse express and courier market-data and internal rate trends to ensure rate integrity use available systems / tools to propose and implement set strategies in coordination with Pricing and Revenue Optimisation managers.- Involves close coordination with multiple stakeholders both internal and external, maintaining a timely and adaptable approach in responding to multiple concurrent requests with differing elements.- Lead the development and maintenance of pricing key performance indicators and metrics and regularly measure and report on the performance of each discipline.- Create, review, action and maintain various contractual documentation, ensuring the timely review and approval of any variations and act as the main point of contact for our customers on all contractual matters, liaising with internal stakeholders where necessary.- Monitor, analyse and report on commercial cooperation activities of competitors and assess impact on EKs commercial interests, reviewing and updating all applicable SPA agreements on a regular basis. Facilitate the continuous improvement of our pricing standards and procedures by leading process improvement workshops and best practice groups ensuring effective prioritisation co-ordination with key stakeholders.Partners- Evaluate and develop proposals for new partner agreements and recommend appropriate strategies for their successful negotiation/implementation.- Analyse, develop and negotiate partner agreements that support tonnage, revenue and yield objectives.- Analyse the performance of partner agreements against corporate objectives and market trends to ensure they are producing anticipated and supplementary tonnage and revenue and develop modifications that will improve contribution.- Envision, advise and implement PowerBI reports and other automated solutions for better management and assessment of new and existing partner utilization.- Represent the Emirates SkyCargo express and courier business, maintaining the the best interests of the company and augmenting networking opportunities and relationships with industry partners and key decision makers.- Communicate, promote and educate express and courier teams and key stakeholders about the policies and key benefits of partner agreements and achieved results improving internal awareness and intra-departmental processes resulting in stronger partnerships.- Provide dedicated support to Management to monitor, evaluate, develop, manage and administer all partnership agreements. Provide project management support for new partnership commitments taken on by the Company e.g. JV, ATI or API integrations.Qualifications & ExperienceTo be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) with 5+ years of experience within the express, courier and air cargo industry. Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in Tariffs and Pricing or equivalent.- Strong analytical skills with expertise in pricing and revenue management- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills for describing applications and drafting agreements, rules, processes and procedures- Commercial awareness of global trade and airline networks development- Good knowledge of international Air Cargo rating rules and regulationsSalary & BenefitsJoin us in a management role and enjoy an attractive tax-free salary.
