Job Description

Our ClientOur client is THE AWS Cloud Consultancy in the Middle East, they are absolutely obsessed with their client?s cloud transformation journey, making it as seamless as possible.Your Responsibilities

  • Be an AWS evangelist with customers, partners and external communities
  • Maintain technical skills and knowledge of market trends and competitive insights; collaborate and share with the technical community
  • Enforce adherence to architectural standards/principles, global product-specific guidelines, usability design standards, etc.
  • Develop deep relationships with key customer IT decision makers, who drive long-term cloud adoption within their company to enable them to be cloud advocates.
  • Apply technical knowledge and customer insights to create a modernization roadmap.
  • Guidance of Implementation Staff and quality assurance for Design Documents and Deliverables.
  • Architect solutions to meet business and IT needs, ensuring technical viability of new projects and successful deployments
  • Identify, communicate and mitigate Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Decisions throughout full Service Delivery lifecycle
  • Understanding of partner ecosystems and the ability to leverage partner solutions to solve customer needs.
  • Architect and design solutions to meet functional and non-functional requirements
Your Qualifications
  • Experience designing, building, refactoring or operating large scale and impactful IT projects - either on premises or in the cloud
  • Working knowledge of cloud native architectures
  • In depth working knowledge in a technology domain such as distributed internet-scale web or mobile applications, DevOps, Serverless, Big Data, analytics, Machine Learning, enterprise workloads (SAP, VMware, Windows etc.), high-performance databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), complex networking implementations, highly secured workloads etc.
  • Knowledge of modern data processing techniques and systems
  • Experience working in a customer-facing role
  • Experience collaborating effectively with internal or external stakeholder groups at multiple levels
  • Experience working with Partners
  • AWS certification (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional) ? Continued or advanced learning (Master, MBA, PhD or equivalent
