Job Description

Job Purpose:Manage the overall compliance to TECOM Policies, DOAs and processes through providing direct support on reviewing all proposals and documents prior to GCEO and senior management approvals. Improve overall compliance to TECOM Corporate Governance to ensure TECOM adheres to its code of good practice and overall ethical decision making.?Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop, initiate, maintain, and revise policies and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance Program and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct
  • Support the Executive Director in all matters relating to compliance such as reviewing all DOA proposals and ensuring completeness of all supporting documents prior to formal signature by GCEO
  • Collaborate with other departments at TECOM Group to direct compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution
  • Conduct the internal investigation of compliance issues and identify compliance issues that require follow-up or investigation and report irregularities
  • Maintain documentation of compliance activities, such as complaints received or investigation outcomes
  • Monitors, and as necessary, coordinates compliance activities of other departments to remain abreast of the status of all compliance activities and to identify trends
  • Collect, examine and analyze records, policies, operating practices, documentation and transactions to strengthen the internal control
  • Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; develop/implement corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, and provide general support to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future
  • Prepare reports on a regular basis, and as directed, to keep the TECOM Group senior management informed of the operation and progress of compliance efforts
  • Work with the Human Capital Department and others as appropriate to develop an effective compliance training programs, including appropriate introductory training for new employees as well as ongoing training for all employees and managers
