PMV Manager ( Plant Machinery & Vehicle Manager) :Responsibilities the day to day operations and managing of Plant, Machinery and Vehicles (PMV) Department including for external hire of machineries, construction equipment and vehicles. Maintenance of heavy and earth moving equipment, follow up the equipment daily work, and make workshop daily report. Supervising and managing the assets of the workshop and the crew. Responsible for buying spare parts and equipment and all other managerial issues concerning this field. Responsible for making MRs (Material Requests) and routine maintenance of all vehicles and equipment in the Plant.Other Responsibly :Responsible for the Coordination of mobilization of PMV resources for the projects within a designated area, managing all plant operations, setting up the PMV infrastructure on sites and monitoring plant performanceMonitor all operations :Prepare operations reports and budgets Ensure all compliance needs are metManage scheduling for a fully operational team Oversee the daily floor operationsDevelop strategies to increase productivity and productionReport and track expenses to reduce costsResponsible for maintenance and repairs and ensure a safe working environment as comply with Company safety procedures, local and state health and safety regulationsResponsible to ensure that all PMV operations are comply HSE standards such as OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001.Fluent communications in reading and writing in EnglishStrong management skills with ability to supervise multiple teamsRequirements :Any Nationality : Nationality open for any professional who fits for above requirements shall be considered.Visa status: If in UAE, notice period should be a maximum of 1 month up to joining.Minimum 8 -10 Years experience as PMV Manager; have excellent Management skills; able to demonstrate an extensive career in the Management of Plant (garage, workshop, heavy equipment, plant machinery and vehicles),Joining Date : Able to join immediatelyPackage offered: Will be discussed on candidate by candidate basis (the right package for the right candidate).Language : English is a must and Arabic is a PLUSQualifications: Mechanical Engineer (Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent). Plant Manager for massive equipment and fleet of vehicles such as Dozers, Graders, Loaders, Rollers, Pavers, Excavators, Trenchers, Trucks, Dump trucks, Light and heavy vehicles, etc.Previous Experience: Great importance shall be given to previous experience with major companies in similar position with proven track records and success in companies working in the civil, road and infrastructure projects ( especially in Dubai/ UAE). Referees will be contacted for verification and recommendation.Particular Requirements: Extensive knowledge in major equipment and manufacturers such as CATERPILLAR, VOLVO, MERCEDES, KOMATSU etc.; establishment and implementation of systems and procedures (SOPs), excellent Managerial skills, very shrewd, poised, detail oriented, autonomous, capable of establishing, building up, and developing a full-fledged PMV Department within the Organization.
