The candidate would need to build a process-oriented environment through a continuous improvement culture. Lead the manufacturing operations in a production facility by being responsible and accountable for making decisions that affect employee health & safety, employee relations, employee growth & development, plant production, plant profitability, quality of products, receiving/shipping, plant maintenance, customer satisfaction, and local community relationships.? Collaborate with other plant managers, looking for challenges to lead. As the Plant Manager, Develop and implement sustainable manufacturing processes needed to manufacture high-quality products on time. Identify opportunities for improvement across the plant in relation to process, equipment, facilities and staffing and drive implementation in a spirit of continuous improvement. Lead all aspects of the 24/7 manufacturing operations and development activities of the plant to achieve short and long-term goals to meet customer and company expectations and ensure on-time production and shipment of conforming products and materials. Lastly, propose and execute plant operational budgets, capital budgets, sales forecasts, and resource requirements as well as manage plant project list, plant inventory, quality systems to meet production goals within budget. The Plant Manager would be required to implement ISO requirements and philosophies. In addition, prepare staff work schedules and assign specific duties.
