Job Description

We are looking for a Pharmacist with a valid DHA (Dubai Health Authority) license to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in pharmacy and be familiar with the regulations and guidelines set by the DHA. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient counseling, and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.Responsibilities:

  1. Dispensing medications accurately and efficiently, following all DHA regulations and guidelines.
  2. Reviewing prescriptions and ensuring the appropriateness of medication therapy.
  3. Providing patient counseling on proper medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
  4. Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and medication therapy.
  5. Maintaining accurate and complete patient records, including medication history and allergies.
  6. Monitoring patient outcomes and adjusting medication therapy as needed.
  7. Ensuring the safe storage and handling of medications, following all DHA guidelines.
  8. Staying updated with the latest developments in pharmacy practice and medication therapy.
  9. Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and medication management processes.
  10. Providing excellent customer service to patients, addressing their questions and concerns.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Valid DHA license as a Pharmacist or DHA Eligibility Letter.
  2. Bachelors degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
  3. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pharmacist in a retail or hospital setting.
  4. Strong knowledge of DHA regulations and guidelines.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications.
  7. Proficient in using pharmacy software and computer systems.
  8. Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
  9. Strong ethical standards and commitment to patient safety.
  10. Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
