Performance and Reward Lead ? Sanofi ? Dubai To improve the skills of leaders, the engagement of employees and the delivery of a progressive performance culture in Sanofi through driving best practice in the initiation and implementation of contemporary Performance and Reward policies in the Greater Gulf MCO, taking into account local specificities.KEY RESULTS/ACCOUNTABILITIESPerformance and Recognition and Compensation CycleProject manages the annual performance and recognition cycle, setting a local timescale for the end-to-end process to ensure on time completion and the correct level of quality. Trains managers in Sanofi?s compensation principles and use of tools for performance management and compensation reviews. Communicates results and process learnings gained from leaders and business partners and provides feedback to Regional managementJob Evaluation and Grading* Develops and maintains in-depth knowledge in order to be the key local expert on Sanofi?s global grading system, global job catalogue and other associated tools. Prepares and maintains the local offer generation tool. Undertakes evaluation of new roles in order to assign a job grade. Defines the principles and process for managing job grades for roles outside of the scope of global grading. Trains managers and educates employees in Sanofi?s grading system principles and mechanics.Compensation Benchmarking and Proposals* Undertakes compensation benchmarking through participation in external salary and benefits surveys * Advise HRBP?s and managers on non-standard compensation proposals * Models financial impact of salary and allowances increments for budget purposesCore Benefits ManagementEnd to end management of the annual medical insurance plan renewal and service delivery, including: * Planning of the renewal cycle with the corporate benefits team * Liaising with the local insurers to understand the claims history, loss ratio and evolution in local market practices * Directing the HR Services team in the preparation and maintenance of the membership census of employees and dependents * Raise purchase orders in company systems * Communicating plan details (policy, handbook, claims process etc.) to members * Undertaking ad-hoc surveys on member experience and satisfaction * Reviewing the performance of the insurer on a periodic basisBenefits Budgeting* Prepare and maintain the annual accrual file for End of Service indemnity liabilities * Prepare and maintain the headcount file with all personnel costs for the forecasted headcountAd-hoc projectsTo undertake, at the request of the Head of HR, ad-hoc projects and research and co-ordination of activities such as: * Compensation and benefits local practices * Gender pay equity * Employee engagement projects * Complex case work (for example grievances related to Performance and Reward policies)Ethical Leadership* Takes personal accountability to use personal experience and knowledge, as well as the training and tools provided by Sanofi, to maintain a good knowledge and understanding of all ethics and governance relevant to the role (including the Industry Code of Practice, Sanofi Policies and Procedures and any relevant legal requirements); and demonstrate personal leadership in applying these to all work undertaken. * Escalates any decisions, or seek the support of colleagues or management if personal knowledge and understanding is not at the level required to carry out any part of the roleEnvironmental and Safety Leadership* To care for his/her own safety and wellbeing and the safety of others, and to co-operate with the company to ensure a safe place of work.
