Job Description

Socialize is looking for an enthusiastic People and Culture Manager to join our support team on a fixed-term contract of 8 months. This role will be covering for our current People & Culture lead during their absence. Reporting to the CFO, this role will support our employees and our leadership with the delivery of our people and culture strategy.Success within this role is measured by how the people and culture team enhance our employee experience for all our employees. This includes managing employee relations, talent acquisition and performance management. They will also be managing payroll and a global HRIS and feel comfortable using a number of tools such as Asana, Workplace for Facebook, CultureAmp and Sage People to name a few.The ideal candidate will:

  • Have an understanding of UAE labour law and experience in how to apply it effectively
  • Have proven experience in working with HRIS systems (global or local)
  • Have experience having executed talent acquisition strategies from start to finish
  • Have management experience of having managed a small team
  • Feel at ease speaking to different stakeholders from C-suite to interns both locally and globally
  • Be able to demonstrate expertise training line managers and employees
  • Able to deliver on projects and tasks on time and within the parameters of
  • Take a data-driven approach to make people & culture decisions
  • Have experience of having tracked or managed a culture and team budget
  • Have executed monthly payroll within the UAE.
We welcome candidates that have extensive talent acquisition experience including running recruitment drives and selection processes and experience in employer branding.
