Job Description

DescriptionThe purpose of this temporary role is to perform analysis, design & implement a comprehensive road map to a Payroll module, processes & deliverables based on international accounting standards & best practices.Ensures that the Payroll Module provides accurate, compliant, and timely payroll calculations, processes & reports that address various governing legal & Tax regimes.Duties

  • Review the current Payroll Module, Processes & Outputs.
  • Design & supervise the development of the following based on International Accounting Standards & best practices:
    • Configurable Payroll setup that addresses various payroll structures (Daily, Weekly, Monthly & yearly).
    • Configurable Tax setup to address various tax regimes.
    • Optimal payroll processes & transactions.
  • Design & supervise the development of payroll reports & General Ledger.
  • Design & supervise the development of the Compensation & benefits Module
  • Assist in Accounting software API?s integration such as SAP, Oracle & Quickbooks.
  • Provide payroll Test Cases scenario to developers & QA.
  • Design & supervise the implementation of Audit reports.

  • A clear road map for developing robust, configurable Payroll module that addresses
    • Daily, Weekly, Monthly & Annual Wages calculation
    • Design best practices Payroll, tax & Total Cost to Company reports
    • Taxes modules design & configuration
    • Payroll that is compliant with MENA region
    • Statuary leave calculations with configurable setups
    • API?s with Oracle, SAP & Other accounting platforms
    • Provides structure to general ledger (excel if no API)
  • Monthly & Annual Compensation Module (cash & non-cash)
  • Payroll Exception & Audit reports
  • Testing scenarios
  • Configurable Tax Module
