Job Description

˙Our client in UAE are looking for˙Pediatrician˙ who is fully responsible to provide high standard of clinical care and expertise in assessment, investigation, diagnosis and treatment of patients in pediatricsJob Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular thorough examinations on newborns and young children to check and record their health and normal physical development
  • Reach an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and individual medical history
  • Keep abreast of advancements in pediatrics and best practices by attending seminars and conferences
  • Advise parents on children?s diet, exercise and disease preventive measures
  • Prepare and administer vaccines according to the governmental vaccination plan
  • Keep updated records of patients? illnesses, surgeries or other medical episodes
  • Recommend and manage treatment, medication, therapy, vaccinations and additional specialized medical care to prevent or treat diseases, injuries and illnesses; monitor progress and conditions and revise treatments as needed
  • Advise and educate patients, parents and members of the community in regards to activity, diet, hygiene and other disease prevention methods
  • Coordinate and supervise activities of therapists, assistants, nurses, students and other support staff; refer patients to a specialist or other physician when warranted
Required˙Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven experience as a˙pediatrician
  • Medical Degree with specialization in pediatrics
  • Valid license to practice medicine
  • Minimum five years of pediatric experience
  • In depth knowledge of children epidemiology and infectious diseases
  • Exquisite knowledge of diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitation principles and techniques
