Job Description

Main Purpose of Job:The Operator is responsible for the driving and safe operation of powered access machines, truck mounts and ancillary equipment in an effective, efficient manner in accordance with customer requirement, whilst adhering to relevant legislation and company policies.The Operator must be comfortable with working at heights as our truck mounts have a reach of up to 63 metres.Our fleet of powered access machines are used in all manner of inside and outside access work.Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate powered access equipment in accordance with company policies
  • Comply with all relevant road regulations
  • Carry out vehicle safety checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with company regulations and all internal quality, health, safety and environmental policies
  • Report all incidents and accidents promptly in accordance with company reporting process
  • Maintain cleanliness of the powered access machines and ancillary equipment
  • Accurately complete all relevant paperwork
  • Maintain high levels of personal appearance and use personal protective equipment as issued
