INVENTORY PLANNERJob SummaryThe Planner has primary responsibility for all regional Supply Chain planning & procurement activities supporting the Eastern Hemisphere (EH) Distribution Center (DC). The Planner is overall responsible for ensuring material movement through-out the DC and global production facilities. This includes driving the MRP process for the DC and associated Aftermarket Plants for the RGR business and maintaining the accuracy and information integrity of the business system (SAP). The Planner coordinates operationally with the global Planning teams and resources. Actively drive and own the Material Planning & Inventory Control activities for the EH Parts DC from the facility in Jebel Ali, Dubai covering Rig Equipment, Pressure Control & other segments.? Procurement of materials through external supply& intercompany transactions, manage vendors to deliver materials strategically and on time to the DC s schedule and requirements.? Vendor management, OTD, PPV, RFQs and pricing negotiations.? Set-up, maintain and review stock levels and time data for parts being distributed from the East Hemisphere Distribution Center.? Validation efforts of S&OP supply planning data to ensure accuracy of data inputs/outputs.? Maintains strong working relationships and communications with the stakeholders in Drilling Services (including planners, plant managers, and operations &product line managers).? Follows and maintains global supply planning strategies for Drilling Services to manage the backlog, past due orders regarding RGR/Loose Parts and forecast for S&OP.? Maintains lead times file for S&OP. Ensures that the proper definitions of lead times are understood by the team in the Distribution Center. Ensures that overall product lead times are inclusive of manufacturing and the distribution/transport time to/from the region as applicable.? Interacts with Regional Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to understand demand drivers on Loose Parts/RGR.? Responsible for working closely with Cameron Systems Demand Planners to ensure appropriate Product Planning Level (PPL) attributes are captured in the sales forecast database to effectively forecast demand streams and products.? Prepares and maintains relevant supply planning reports, and KPIs for S&OP.? Uses analytical and quantitative methods to assemble demand data outputs from the S&OP model as inputs to the supply planning process.? Responsible for data quality analysis for the S&OP supply planning process ahead of each Supply Planning meeting.? Uses team-based problem-solving techniques to understand how to improve and sustain future supply/demand models.?
