About the jobJob Title: Operations Manager / Marine SuperintendentCompany: Pegasus Marine Services LLCLocation: Dubai˙˙Company OverviewWe are Technical Manager for fleet of all types of˙vessels mostly Oil Tankers .Candidate˙will play an important role in supporting our company for the smooth operation of our managed fleet and maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance. This role combines desk work with ship visits.˙Key Responsibilities:- Monitor day to day ship?s operation for smooth activities at sea and port without delays and accident. ? Managing a Team- Monitoring and maintain shipboard PMS (Planned Maintenance System) for Hull and Machinery.- Monitor and arrange shipboard scheduled statutory Classification surveys .- Approve, co-ordinate and arrange supply of stores, spares and consumables, including Nautical Equipment?s and Publications.- Implement ISM and ISO .- Coordinate and control vessel?s budget relevant to Technical aspects.- Briefing of Shipboard Senior Officers prior to joining vessels with regards to SMS matters as required, company policies, specific charterers? requirements.˙Job Requirements:Master Mariner (FG) CoCSailing experience on Tankers as a Master with at least 12 months of sea time is a must.Strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance in the maritime industry.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Willingness to travel and conduct ship visits.Proficiency in computers and good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe, Power point, Excel etc.An ability to work to deadlines and able to do multi-tasking.Must be able to work in a team-based environment and to work with all levels of people.Resourceful, meticulous, well-organized and ability to work independently.Possess a mature personality with interpersonal and organizational skills.?Freshers may also apply.
