About The Role As a Banquets Operation Manager, you will support the Director of Banqueting in overseeing the management of the Banqueting function, managing the floor function by assisting the kitchen and leading the service teams in accomplishing events based on the customers requirements and our service standards. You will ensure that all banquet details, including decorations, layout, cleanliness, and services are properly set up and follow our standards, policies, and procedures. About You Ideally, wed like you to have a minimum 5-6 years of relevant banquet experience in a luxury hotel. You will have played a key role in previous Banqueting functions and weddings and have experience managing large events, adapting to changes, and have solid experience managing large teams, and dealing with VVIP guest and a variety of different cultures. Previous international exposure in a hotel environment is required. Creativity to present ideas in terms of handling different events and differing set up style, along with a solid understanding of business acumen and potential revenue generation whilst having awareness of cost control is essential in this managerial level role. Fluency in Arabic or any European language would also be preferred for this role.
