Job Description

Job Summary:The Real Estate Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of real estate operations, including property management, leasing, tenant relations, and maintenance. They are responsible for ensuring that properties are maintained and operated in a safe and efficient manner, while maximizing profitability and tenant satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:

  • Property Management:˙Oversee the day-to-day operations of all properties, including maintenance, repairs, renovations, and tenant relations.
  • Leasing and Tenant Relations: Manage the leasing process, including advertising vacancies, screening potential tenants, and negotiating leases. Ensure positive tenant relations and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Financial Management:˙Develop and manage property budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure that properties are operated within budgetary guidelines. Analyze financial statements and prepare reports for senior management.
  • Staff Management: Supervise property management staff, including hiring, training, and performance management. Ensure that staff are trained on relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to real estate operations, including fair housing laws, building codes, and environmental regulations.
  • Vendor Management: Select and manage vendors, contractors, and suppliers for property maintenance and repairs. Ensure that vendors comply with contractual agreements and deliver services in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with property operations, such as safety hazards, property damage, and liability issues. Implement risk management strategies to protect the organizations assets and interests.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for real estate operations, including identifying growth opportunities, optimizing property performance, and enhancing tenant satisfaction.
  • Communication: Maintain regular communication with senior management, property owners, tenants, and other stakeholders to ensure that goals and objectives are met and issues are addressed promptly.
