? SCOPE? Responsible for managing the daily operational activities in accordance with overall company s policy? DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES?Effectively and efficiently direct the daily operation activities of the warehouse and distribution functions.?Act as focal point for all logistics activities, carry out professional planning to ensure appropriate and cost efficient procurement, stocking and distribution of goods.?Safeguard warehouse operations and control inventory levels.?Establish a monthly logistics reporting system to ensure that all activities are appropriately recorded and reported.?Create Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) for all the retail and logistics functions.?Take the lead in quarterly and annual physical inventory counts. Balance efficiency with cost to create the best system possible to do such inventories.?Maintain information integrity ensure inventory records are complete, correct and updated?Manage stock transfers within shops to achieve the best moving of items.? Experience in operational retail management.? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.? Excellent and professional negotiation skills.? A minimum of 10 years experience in related fields.? University degree.? 30 to 45 years.? Valid UAE Driving License.? Requires own transportation? Requires flexible working hours.? Ability to recognize and maintain confidentiality as appropriate.? Self motivated and flexible.? COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE?All Microsoft Office programs.?LS Retail or any other retail system background? Strategic planning, organizing and analytical skills; Problem solving; Decision making; Commercial awareness and customer focused; Leadership abilities; People Management.? RELATIONSHIPS:? Retail Teams: Maintain regular contact and develop productive relationships and communication to achieve targets/goals? Franchising Team: Actively liaise with overseas team and visitors to ensure understanding of activities, priorities and targets? Head Office: Develop good working relationships with key functions to ensure maximum level of guidance and support? External individuals/organizations: Represent and build good relationships to enhance the role of the company within the retail environment.
