A brand with a rich heritage and know-how in the luxury business is looking at hiring Officer-Warehousing to be based in Dubai, UAE:Designation: Officer-WarehousingJob Location: Dubai, UAE Brief Job Description? To establish a proper Warehouse Management System (WMS) across the assigned warehouse.? Oversee receiving, warehousing and distribution of goods.? Assist in all related activities of warehouse in order to provide the best support to maximize sales.? To allocate and manage the staff according to the needs of warehousing and dispatch.? To administer warehousing and ensure that optimum inventory is maintained with ageing analysis and proper maintenance of inventory records. ? Follow up with our internal transportation and coordinate for timely dispatch and delivery of goods.? To incorporate the delivery process of all materials within a pre-defined time frame in order to ensure smooth flow of supplies with a reasonably strict control on inventory levels.? To implement cost reduction measures at all aspects of Warehouse transactions ? To ensure all rules & regulations, proper documentation & procedures as prescribed by concerned departments / authorities in various countries are adhered to for all import and export consignments.? Maintain records and proper documentation of damaged goods/ goods return. Ensure to place the damaged goods in the quarantine area with proper sign/markings.? To ensure & implement appropriate safety & security procedures and standards in all warehouse/s operations.? Optimum utilization of all warehouses space with systemized stocking policies. Specialized products should be stored in specific conditions.? To continuously replenish materials as per different market / customer order and production schedules and ensure timely dispatch of goods with minimum sale loss. Ensure the relevant dispatch documents (DN/Transfer Order) are thoroughly checked and forwarded along with the individual vehicle? To review and establish procedures and maintain internal control over the physical product flow and accounting of inventory receiving, internal transfer of goods, movements, vendor consignments, shipping, scrap and physical disposition.? Adhere to compliance of Dubai Municipality, Civil Defence and any other regulatory bodies regarding warehouse & inventory including hazardous materials handling.? Ensure to always keep valid Trade License copy or any other mandate documents required at the warehouse to avoid fines/legal complications.? Adhere to the Health and Safety Policy, ensuring safe working conditions and practices within the Warehouse.
